Now, with that said, the program is tough. Sticking to the nutritional guide and workout schedule is vital. There are 13 P90X DVDs. The 12 workouts are shown below. There is also 1 DVD on getting started.
I’m not going to lie, P90X takes a lot of effort. A lot of people give up because they are lazy. You have to have a goal and stick to it. It takes determination. But if you do make it through the 90 days, you will be amazed with your new physique. I think it is amazing what can be done in only 90 days. Thanks Tony Horton.
The nutritional plan is also important to stick with. It is made up of lean meats, veggies, fruits, whole grains, dairy, and healthy fats. Absolutely no junk food! No soda, fast food (well, there are a few options in the guide as a last resort for those busy days).
The plyometrics workout is one of the hardest workouts, along with yoga X. I thought it was going to be easy, but i was completely wrong! Yoga is tough, but it gets easier, just as plyometrics got easier, but it was a struggle to begin with. Just remember to “do your best and forget the rest”, as Tony likes to say.
